EVIDENCES FOR RATIONAL THERAPIES: FROM NEWBORN TO ELDERLY POPULATION

Organized in collaboration with the Children’s Memorial Health Institute of Warsaw, the National Center for Biological Research (CNRB), the Middle European Association for Regulatory Affairs (MEGRA), the Italian Society of Regulatory Activities (SIAR), the Task Force in Europe for Drug Development in the Young (TEDDY), and with the support of Farmindustria, the 4th edition of the Foresight Training Course targeted professionals such as Medical Directors, R&D Managers, Pharmacovigilance Managers, Clinical Research Associates, Clinical Project Managers, Regulatory Affairs Operators, Market Access Operators, Statisticians, IT Operators, Data Managers, Researchers, as well as Professors, Students, Business Development Managers, and Biotech industry leaders.

The Foresight Training Courses aimed to highlight recent developments in the European Pharmaceutical System and foster dialogue between Europe and national states. The 4th edition continued the course’s focus on European health programs, particularly the EMA Roadmap 2010-2015, and national health plans. The course addressed advancements in clinical trial methodologies and other studies related to drug development and post-marketing use.

As in previous editions, the course included stakeholders such as regulators, researchers, healthcare professionals, private and public companies, and patient associations. Additionally, the course was accredited for Italian educational credits (ECM) for healthcare professionals, in line with the latest Italian law. The event aimed to highlight the opportunities provided by existing international collaborative networks and encourage further efforts, following the working methodologies validated by EMA and national authorities like AIFA.
