Madrid played host to the 2nd EPIICAL General Assembly meeting from 14 to 16 November 2018. We were pleased to welcome our project partners from 26 organisations across 4 different continents for a stimulating and engaging three-day event. ViiV Healthcare, which financed this milestone project, was also represented.

The meeting agenda included guest lectures and discussions on the achievements up to that point. A pivotal topic that year focused on the preliminary virological results and novel assays. With each work package represented, the event provided an opportunity to review future strategies and perspectives moving forward.
