A meeting to discuss in details the InNerMeD work packages advancement status and the Partners involvement took place in Valenzano (Bari), at the Gianni Benzi Foundation’s operative office in Tecnopolis, on May 30th 2014.

The meeting represented the occasion to officially announce the changes in the InNerMeD partnership composition; following this Consortium remodelling, the Croatian partner took the leadership of the networking tasks aimed to enlarge the project network. For this purpose, an electronic questionnaire has been sent to any interested stakeholder inviting to join the Network as a person or a workgroup/centre. The electronic questionnaire, downloadable at the following address http://survey.innermed.eu/index.php/survey/index/sid/161692/newtest/Y/ or from the “Join the Network” page, is aimed at collecting information about current existing expertise on inherited Neurometabolic Diseases (iNMDs).

An important topic discussed during the meeting, was the finalisation of the information platform done by the Gianni Benzi Foundation, with the aim to collect data on centres of expertise, iNMDs diagnosis and treatment including clinical and laboratory information and other epidemiological or clinical variables.
