The second official ARISE Project Meeting was held in London on 24–25 October 2019. The meeting focused on the advancements in the ARISE project workplan, updates on secondments, outcomes achieved, and plans for future staff exchanges.

The meeting was organised immediately after the Annual Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassaemia Conference (ASCAT), which took place on 21–23 October 2019 in London.
