In the framework of the project “Towards Personalized Medicine: Development of new selective molecules for the treatment of Neuroblastoma”, a call for selection has been issued for 2 graduates to be employed with a fixed-term contract (36 months), in the framework of the Italian 3rd level contract for researchers, at the Institute of Crystallography of the Italian National Research Council inBari, Italy.
The project is financed by the “Fondazione CON IL SUD” and will be implemented by the Institute of Crystallography of the Italian National Research Council in collaboration with the “Gianni Benzi” Foundation and other international partners. It concerns the synthesis of analogues of PNA and new aminoglycoside scaffolds mimicking molecules of microRNA (miRNAs) associated with the neuroblastoma.
The selection for the return of young researchers from abroad is directed to Italian citizens (maximum age 40 years). The candidates must have at least four years of proven experience abroad, carried out at public or private research facilities.
One unit will be engaged in the “synthesis and characterization of the new chemical oligonucleotides”, while the other unit will be collaborating in the “organic synthesis for applications in ‘medicinal chemistry’”.
