Fondazione Gianni Benzi took part in the 40° National Congress of the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF) “Il valore scientifico e l’uso appropriato del farmaco“, that run virtually from 9th to 13th March 2021.

Fondazione Benzi took part in the joint event including the RE(ACT) Congress – International Congress of Research on Rare and Orphan Diseases (6th edition) and IRDiRC – International Rare Diseases Research Consortium – Conference (4th edition) held online on 13-15 January 2021.

The EPTRI Open meeting was held on 2-3 April 2020. It was attended by more than 150 participants and was the occasion to present the project challenges and achievements reached so far. The meeting gave an interesting overview on the next steps and the scientific topics, specifically addressed to the paediatric population health.  

The 1st Advanced Therapy Science Meeting (ATSM), organised by RESTORE project, was held on the 25th- 26th November in Berlin. Advanced Therapies are at the front of the innovation in medicine and include gene, cellular and tissue therapies. The use of these therapies is facilitated by the data science revolution, that is able to manage a ‘big’ amount of biological and health information.

The 39th National Conference of Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF) was held on the 20th-23rd November 2019, in Florence. The event was the occasion to enrich the knowledge and skills on the world of pharmaceuticals that is currently evolving.

The participation of Professor Adriana Ceci in the XIV MIOT meeting, held on the 14-15th November 2019 in Ancona, can be considered a crucial opportunity to increase and exchange useful knowledge in this framework thanks to an interactive discussion on the current ways of thinking and the new innovative therapeutic approaches.

Fedele Bonifazi, President of the Gianni Benzi Foundation, was invited to take part to the 4th Annual Conference of the ELIXIR Czech National Node that was held on 11-12 November in Brno.
