A new clinical trial map is now accessible via the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS) public website. Designed for patients and healthcare professionals, it provides real-time, comprehensive access to clinical trials across the European Union (EU), improving access to research opportunities.

The interactive map allows users to search for ongoing trials by location and medical condition. It supports lay language queries, and displays investigators’ contact details to facilitate direct communications about enrolment. Currently available in English, additional EU languages will be introduced in future updates.

This initiative is part of the Accelerating Clinical Trials in the EU (ACT EU) workplan for 2025-2026, addressing stakeholder requests for a patient-friendly dashboard. To support users, EMA hosted a public webinar whose recording is available for future reference.
