On Friday, February 20th, 2016, the book entitled “Lo sport del doping. Chi lo subisce, chi lo combatte” written by Alessandro Donati and published by Abel editions was presented at the at the Park Hotel La Grave in Castellana Grotte (Ba).
The book describes the story of the long and often lonely battle of Alessandro Donati against doping.
The event was sponsored by the sports associations, Kinesport Castellana, Atletica Freedogs Castellana and Unione Ciclistica Castellanese and the cultural association Mens Sana, with the patronage of the City of Castellana Grotte – Department of Sport and the Gianni Benzi Foundation, that has always been committed to the promotion of a healthy sport and to the fight against doping.
During the book presentation, Emanuele Caputo, sports journalist and medical doctor, interviewed Alessandro Donati, master of the Coni’s sport, today consultant at the World Anti-Doping Agency and author of numerous books on doping and the training methods published in Italy and abroad.
