DANTE EDIH project: first phase successfully completed

Jun 3, 2026

The first phase of the DANTE (Digital Solutions for a Healthy, Active and Smart Life) project has been successfully completed, delivering significant results. The initiative was designed to support the digital transformation of businesses and public administrations in the fields of health, active ageing, and technologies for living environments.

Fondazione Gianni Benzi, a partner in the DANTE consortium, contributed to the development of an ecosystem aimed at providing services and expertise to facilitate the adoption of innovative solutions, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.

Throughout the project, 1,086 services were delivered to 535 organizations, including 469 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and 66 public administrations, with a total value of €2,574,794, largely funded through resources from Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

These achievements demonstrate the project’s ability to provide tangible support to businesses and public administrations in their innovation, technology transfer, and digital skills development journeys, thereby contributing to the growth of the health innovation ecosystem.

Although this funding phase has come to an end, the path initiated by DANTE will continue through the exploration of new opportunities and instruments capable of ensuring continuity of services and enhancing the wealth of relationships, expertise, and experience built over the years.

The results achieved provide a solid foundation for addressing the new challenges of digital transformation and for further strengthening collaboration among the project partners, ultimately benefiting businesses, institutions, and citizens.
